Tuesday’s Child is part of the Heroines Born on Different Days of the Week series and can be read as a stand alone novel.
Destitute after the death of her husband, Lady Harriet Castleton relies on the charity of her father in law, the unscrupulous Earl of Pennington to provide a home for her and her young son Arthur. However, the situation is far from ideal as it has put Arthur, the future Earl, in danger. As a younger son, Dominic Markham pursued a life in the clergy never dreaming one day circumstances would change and he would become the next Earl of Faucon. Now he is expected to marry and produce heirs. Harriet and Dominic are attracted to one another and although a union between them would solve both their woes, they realize it would be impossible as she is not of his station.
Harriet and Dominic are delightful characters and this well written story has it all, including suspense, romance and an unexpected twist at the end. Once again, Ms. Morris has written an entertaining story that perfectly captures the essence of the Regency era and I recommend it for fans of Regency romance.
